ParticipantHigh School api’s can be a bit deceiving as they pull a wide variety of areas. For example, La Costa Canyon pulls in some of the lower performing areas near the beach and barrio areas in Encinitas/Cardiff. Still good kids and families there, they just are raised in homes where english is a 2nd language. I always look at the elementary school scores as they tell you more about the neighborhood you are buying into.
