March 19, 2008 at 3:25 PM #173328PeaceParticipantA realtor who ignores low offers will not admit that they would have to back-track on a lot of the schmooz talk laid down to get the listing.
“Low Ball” offers should be part of the discussion during the pre-listing sales pitch.
No one, least of all realtors, should be surprised or offended by low ball offers these days.March 19, 2008 at 3:25 PM #173668PeaceParticipantA realtor who ignores low offers will not admit that they would have to back-track on a lot of the schmooz talk laid down to get the listing.

You are not privy to that for two reasons. You were not here when he struck first blood and this is over your head.I am not trying to hurt him. I think my posts before he got here were real and his wasn’t so much more than a sales pitch. Aren’t we allowed to ask for data?
No offense intended, and sorry for the sales pitch.
I haven’t sold any houses at 25% below list price, but I’ve offered that low and lower. I think buyers have the right to make offers, and agents should step up to help them.
Jim the Realtor
P.S. Rustico – your comment about striking blood was referring to today, right? If there was some previous incident, I’ll apologize for that too.
