BTW: You shouldn’t be buying food made in china OR vietnam to begin with for health considerations ESPECIALLY seafood. For the longest time both Japan and Taiwan banned seafood from china and vietnam because some exporters consistently soaked them in mercury bath to keep freshness.[/quote]Well, if you eat at restaurants at lot, that’s what you get.
Veggies and fruit grown locally have pesticides, wax, etc…
American meat has hormones that cause girls to have breasts at 12, etc…
Don’t know what to eat anymore.
I need to buy my own farm.
If we look at the health and bodies of the population, we’d conclude that the food in America is pretty toxic.

I heard the same info. re. Chinese and Vietnamese seafood. Apparently they are raised in very unhealthy conditions (almost like a sewer). What is your opinion of seafood from Thailand? I really look for the country of origin when I am shopping at Trader Joe’s because sometimes it is not obvious.

At once upon of time, I refused to buy any seafood that was not sourced from either Canada or the U.S…Most reputable places that sell seafood tell you source of origin…Even Ranch 99 does this now….
I skip all the frozen seafood section in Ranch 99, because most of those are sourced in asia (why do you think it’s so cheap)?
…Well, at least, that was before the BP disaster. Now, I’m thinking of just eating farm raised fish from U.S./Canada….
