http://www.dailybulletin.com/ci_12228714No real offense to Mr. Norris but isn’t he a sort of cheerleader himself? Can’t negative “information” be used as bait as much as “feel good” stuff? He is a salesman. Nothing in the article was was concrete. Can we have his 3 1/2 week old appraisals that are down 20% to comp them out? Not calling him a liar just that his commitment to what he was saying was weakened with caveats. He is in a perfect position to cherry pick his way back to reasonable standing, but he probably won’t bother. Temeculaguy is offering no caveats that I recall. If nothing else that makes it a lot more fun.
I doubt what he is saying when he says 1004mc is going to knock appraisal values down overnight by 20%. This is just one man’s opinion and probably should be taken with a grain of salt. His topics are not developed in this article and most of the people who consider him an expert(which on some levels of course he is) will not bother to find out what it is about…but instead just flock to him for his support. I’ll get into trouble for saying so but this looks like marketing more than anything else.

You can’ be serious can you? Norris has one of the best reps in the business and one of the best records. Who do you listen to?
Some more 1st hand experience for you to ponder:

April 29, 2009 at 7:56 PM #389826NotCrankyParticipantVery serious. I looked at it. I don’t see much that influences me.It seemed confused. Nobody was certain or could support anything with anything broad. Food for thought, for now, thanks.
Not sure if by “listen” you mean follow or worship or just listen. But it sounds like I am supposed to be a big fan of one or two individual “limelight” type experts who are not personal relations of mine but have “good reputations and records”?
My broker has helped a lot of people over 30+ years in the business. I have known him for 17 and trust him with feedback which is mutual. Can I have a mutual, down to earth discussion with Mr. Norris? Can You? Does he have unpaid time for you? I have a friend who came here from the mountains in Jalisco when he was 13 who has done very well for himself, sometimes with my help. I listen to him I observe him planning his work and working his plan upfront and in person.
Even with acknowleging how diasgreeable we are here, I find this a great place to listen. I am listening to you. I listen to a lot of people.
BTW if you search the archives here for SDCIA you will see that I have recommended the site or brought something over here from it something like 10 times. I think it is a great site too.

April 29, 2009 at 8:20 PM #389856BobParticipantIt might be useful for those of you who are claiming the bottom has arrived to give the rest of us your definition of bottom.
All I know is that I just saw another fantastic TV REO sitting on a golf course listed at $259K. The exact same model down the street sold for $325K earlier in the year…and $705K three years ago. Could it be the bottom has arrived but TG forgot to tell the banks ? LOL
