So I didn’t make fun of my vegan friend at golf
Does your friend make fun of your food or is the ribbing one way?
Like I said, I’m not even vegetarian or vegan, but if you make fun, be prepared to be made fun of. It’s only fair. Just take it easy.
I like to make fun of people who change but won’t make amends or apologize. Like Michele Bachman or Rush Limbaugh supporters who now use LED bulbs. They should be made fun of.
When it comes to food, a lot of people make changes like Bill Clinton did when facing age, disease and mortality.
I eat meat but not a lot. I was turned off from meat when in college a friend would broil meat in the oven. The smell of burning flesh was horrible. I also has a college friend from U.K. who would deep fry everything. The smell is also horrible especially in a small apartment.

You guys should watch this documentary. It’s not only truthful…but what’s in that documentary is an understatement.
Documentary from Al Jazeera. It’s worth watching the entire 1/2 hour. Especially starting at 5:55 and 24:50
Fake noodles, fake meat, fake flavor….
I stopped eating at most Chinese Restaurants because who knows who their supplier is.

just look at American teenagers. — they’re aged beyond their peers in the OECD. Too much hormones in the food.I rarely eat Chinese food — too fat and greasy. but I order Vietnamese, and Thai all the time. And I love sushi, just no American style rolls with weird sauces. Maybe many ingredients at restaurants such as soy sauce are made in China. Considering that my health is perfect, I think it’s OK.
I think mixed veggies with soft tofu or fresh ginger veggies also with tofu are delicious. I would much rather have that over KFC. I like Asian food just a few slices of meat or seafood. No need eat a whole chicken breast or more in 1 meal.

Agree.
It is in medicine as well. Losartan and Zantac both recently recalled due to tainted ingredients from China found to be cancer causing.
The problem is most Chinese food in the US isn’t cooked properly.
For example – stir fry. Properly cooked stir-fry at the right temperature isn’t supposed to be greasy. Stir-fry rice noodles are a measure of how well a chef can cook.
Southern Chinese cooking has a lot more steamed dishes and seafood. But good luck finding a good chef in CA.November 8, 2019 at 11:11 PM #813955FlyerInHiGuestThat is so true Myriad. Cantonese food is the best, lightest. freshest and healthiest, IMO. I think regions of the world that have fresh produce and fruits, year round, have better food.
