    ok, now I understand. I understand how people can get nutty about houses. i made an offer and dammitalltohelll, we’re a backup. Another offer had just been accepted right before ours went in. practically speaking, what are the odds generally on a place falling out of escrow nowadays?

    please advise. who do i bribe and/or sabotage. i feel like I’ve fallen in love. No other house will ever do. This is truly the only place I will live in. if I cannot have this house, i would prefer to live nowhere.
