The average salary is about the same as the average Engineer who makes $86K. Total compensation for the average Engineer is only at $119K. And Engineers don’t get to retire at 50. Wonder why the US is not competitive in Math & Science?

Do you think most engineers would want to do what O’side cops do?
Mind you, they’ve had two O’side cops killed in the past seven years. This doesn’t include the officers who’ve been threatened or attacked…just the ones who were killed.
