davelj – right. But it was a lost DECADE. That’s a long time. Even at 1/3 the size it doesn’t seem to suggest near-term recovery. Maybe he wasn’t saying near-term. He did say “one day.”

Lots of variability in what they might take on and a large skill set. I am bullish about this type individuals prospects at this time and getting more so daily.
I hope the current owner occupied buyers do well. I think for some of the current buyers these deals are going to be helpful from a personal finance angle… and some not.Hopefully the lifestyle benefits will outweigh any potential economic downside for them.
I am bullish for people who rent in marginal areas to become buyers in marginal areas, under some circumtances.I am talking low end housing, don’t have anything to lose buyers.
