I’m 100% in favor of legalizing Weed, its 1000 times less harmful than Tobacco and Alcohol. But the downside of CA legalizing it while every other state does not, is that eventually every pothead in the country will migrate here to live their lifestyle. Unfortunately, potheads as a whole are not the worlds most productive members of society… Bill Clinton and your high school theatre teacher who you got stoned with in 1983 notwithstanding π

October 10, 2008 at 8:33 AM #284999kewpParticipantis there any relationship between the possibility of the world being at an envirnmental tipping point and the finance system reach some sort fo tipping point?
I’m actually cheering on a recession/depression as I think drastic cut in consumption on a global scale is the only thing that will save us from total environmental catastrophe.

October 10, 2008 at 9:06 AM #285019anxvarietyParticipantI had to leave Cali. Moved out to the mountains where I feel a little safer. Requires fewer bullets to keep the perimeter here clear – should there ever bee anarchy and looting.
After all I’m anxvariety! A variety of anxiety!
Try buying some bulk rice online – and see how far they’re back ordered – that could really spook you!
