Taz: “As a woman, I get very irritated w/other women who claim to be “modern” and independent and self-reliant yet, when it is to their advantage, expect the “old-fashioned” perks of having a man pay for everything…”
Except I didn’t say that I expected him to pay for “everything”. I said “ONE” nice date. Taz, perhaps you should go back and read what I actually wrote before you make any more stupid comments.
“oh, and marion, trust me my comments are not motivated by jealousy or difficulty getting a date…I am in a long term relationship, make over 100K a year and DO NOT judge my friends/relationships by how much they are willing to spend on me…”
Taz, it sounds like you consider this to be impressive. It could be, it depends.

December 11, 2007 at 3:56 PM #114404nostradamusParticipantGosh, Nost, I have 9 books checked out from the library. Maybe we would make the perfect couple?
Depends on what books you have… Mine are mostly steamy romance novels (just kidding). The latest hot library topic for me is dogs: dog training, dog nutrition, dog psychology… needless to say I'm the proud owner of my first dog and everything one needs for this is right there in the books, right there in the library, for free! This dog is so sharp it's sometimes scary. I think it's only a matter of time before she learns how to fire up the bbq grille. Which brings me to the next hot book topic: bbq cooking!
