well, ok. maybe it’s just me. I like to be away from them for a few days, but unfortunately, I almost never am. I go years sometimes without being away for a day, not by choice, that’s just the way things are. I’m probably projecting. I like having them around too. Maybe it’s all socially induced. but women at least seem like they have to act like they’re more troubled when they’re away from their kids (except flu’s wife). Also, i drink only at home with them, never at bars. So they do save me a lot of money that way. Cheap drinking partners, i never have to buy them anything because they’re too young to drink.
