We need cheap, illegal immigrant labor because businesses do not want to give pay increases to attract native workers. If they cannot stay in business without the illegal immigrants, then they should just move the plant to Mexico or the Phillipines or wherever.
Cheap labor is necessary so Wall Street does not have to contend with wage inflation, which is real inflation, not when asset bubbles happen.
