We go once a month, maybe more to hike and volunteer as fire lookouts. We sleep up on tahquitz peak.
The temecula-idyllwild road didnt wash out, and lots of young fit people from SD hike up to the fire tower. In fact, more people from SD Tthan the inland empire. Hell, I’d say I’ve registered more people visiting from Seattle than the IE.
Wife likes it there. Just talking about a cabin made her happy.
I wouldve expected the Cranston fire last year and the road washouts to crater real estate but it’s still high.
Tg, some very good points.
Main reason I’m truly hesitant aside from high pricing is the possibility the whole town is engulfed in flames and we roast to death. Yes, I am a scaredyat but this is a possibility. I am ok with dying but definitely opposed to death by fire.
