That would piss me off. And I’ve seen this happen at Osteria Romantica near La Jolla Shores. I complained, when finally seated, and they comped me a glass of red wine. That made up for it.[/quote]
We seem to get a lot of comps. Less-than-optimal table? Comped deserts. Wait 5 min when we have reservations? Free wine. Delay in ordering? Appetizers on the house.
