I will go out on a limb and say its impossible. Though I dont think its a thin limb. If my house goes to 100/ sq ft, then starter homes in Mira Mesa would have to be free. Same goes for Clairemont and PQ. Dont think thats gonna happen.
Seriously, it would mean that my house was going for about 70 times rent. Owning my 5BR house would be cheaper than renting a 2BR apartment in UTC. Get real.
