Preliminary statistics show this years Black Friday way ahead of last years, and much better than the analysts projections. In my area (eastern LA county), every store was jammed and parking almost impossible, especially the Fry’s. Police were there directing traffic all day long. People were parking two blocks away and walking. I have never seen it so crazy. Maybe the last hurrah before recession?
