I’m pretty sure the NoCal Kaiser RN union area able to negotiate that because the cost of living has risen through the roof. Something tells me that if cost of living didn’t rise like they did, the union won’t be able to negotiate that kind of pay raise. Unlike tech, RN can move anywhere, as long as there are people, there will be a demand. So, if the hospital don’t pay up and cost of living keep on rising, RN will pick up an leave for greener pastures.
