nostradamus: “The problem for my ex was I’m not a “Stepford wife”.
Marion you do have a good sense of humor but the way you’ve described yourself does sound extremely Stepford-wife-ish. Waiting by the door with slippers and a casserole, bubble baths and massages… So tell me again, why did your ex leave?”
nostradamus, my ex didn’t want a wife that challenged him in any way, mentally or otherwise.
Flu: “Marion: you still didn’t answer my question. Where are your job offers being turned down? Before you even get an interview, or after? If you are getting turned down after talking to the people on site.”
Flu, in the majority of cases, I am not even being selected for the interview. I received my Masters and school psychology credential in May, therefore I am a new grad with little experience. From the opinions I’ve gathered, this seems to be a problem because of the possibility of a large number of experienced applicants applying for the same positions. I don’t know, but I really want a position. I also have to compete with the bilingual applicants who are more desirable because of Southern Cali’s large population of Hispanic students.
