No there was nothing shady going on. The house was priced aggressively and received several bids. I had spoke to the listing agent on this one soon after it went into escrow. I couldn’t get the price but the agent had told me that it was well over list price as I had a client who wanted to submit a backup offer. I figured it was in the high 500’s but I guess I was wrong.
