Most people don’t realize that Albuquerque is the same elevation as Denver, mile high. It is a nice place if you like artsy,eclectic,ocean beach type aura. Never lived there, but it does have a lot to offer certain types of people.
I think to find someplace cheap and nice you have to find somewhere newly discovered, Temecula? I don’t know, just throwing that out there. For me it’s all about family and the job,hence I’m grounded here in SD. Once one is retired and family scatterred then options for me open up quite a bit. Of course as one gets older stuff like arthritis kicks in, so I’ll just stay here I guess.
