Mitt Romney has that slightly shifty charm, that wouldn’t be out of place in British boardrooms. I don’t know if being of English ancestry has anything to do with that. His comments may have hit a raw nerve, and weren’t very diplomatic, but they weren’t offensive.
As far as ceremonies and even the games themselves, it’s all a bit boring as is most sports on TV. That’s assuming you can even find them on cable with its milliard of channels.
The US teams uniform was a bit of a joke …militaristic, and just uncool. I’m sure other teams from around the world look just as absurd.
