The irony. Look in the mirror dude. You are part of the problem.
No people like you are the problem. You use rationale like “I help kids at my son’s school” as support to an argument. Give me a break. Finally you agreed that the only reason is for ME, ME, ME. I think that’s where we differ in opinion. This is not a Trump thing, or left or right thing, it’s a selfish thing. Maybe it’s a difference in culture, or the way we were brought up. It’s OK, there are many many more people that feel and act the way you do.
Whatever dude. Like I said, enjoy the next 4 years. Congratulations on contributing to it. Things don’t happen out of the blue. And, so long as you guys make your position a zero game for someone that doesn’t fit your protected class, this sort of backlash will continue. Beyond just 4 years.
The problem is people like you polarize the issue completely your way or no way. In your mind and Brian’s mind, if you don’t embrace the all encompassing far left doctrine of everything that comes out of the progressive camp, you must be a a trumptard.
Well guess what? That puts people into choosing between picking the lesser of two evils in their particular situation. You far left progressives are going to cost the election for all the folks in the middle, because you ignore all the people that would be willing to compromise, because for you..it’s all or nothing. You don’t think it’s a big deal because you don’t mind others getting screwed over as long as it doesn’t affect you. Fairness? Who needs that!
And conveniently absent. Brian after turning yet another thread into a progressive very everyone else slapfest.
All talk, no action. And if math and science and education is so easy as you state, clearly there’s no need for affirmative action make up for the differences. Maybe just maybe there aren’t people as smart and capable as you that think everything is so easy.
BtW. Affirmative action is illegal in CA. As it should be. Imagine that the most liberal state, and it’s illegal.
But I have to admit, running into people like you talk about affirmative action does make me slightly less tolerant each time. Which is why up until recently I tried to ignore this thread. Again, and you are surprised middle America chose Trump?
