Maybe the government anticipates a significant number of recent vets to have grievances to settle which were installed in their time of service? Perhaps these grievances will be amplified by another significant number finding themselves chronically unemployed… or that their jobs are in India… or maybe even Iraq! It doesn’t take that many bent out of shape, former soldiers, some who have already killed before,in the land of no weapons of mass destruction, to worry the people that did this to them.
