I sure am glad that you know more about why people you have never met did something 28 years ago than they do.
She told you why he left, he had a midlife crisis when adjusting to a new world and felt younger than his age and place in life dictated. That is it, not because of her looks. Seeing how he stayed with the next woman for the next 3 decades, he obviously had something more in common with her than just her looks.
I never saw anywhere in the article where they said he cheated. Sure, he married someone else 1 month after they were divorced, possibly for financial reasons as well as looks, but that isnt cheating. If the author could have substanciated ANY cheating, he would have.
I am sure you really dont like this guy. I am sure this is a very sore subject for you. I am sure it would be very convient if you could justify your dislike for the guy with something you have a deep personal experience with. But dont judge people on something they didnt do. People get divorced for a large number of reasons, not just cause he is a lying, cheating asshole “sewer rat” who only cares about his wife because of her looks. Especially when they come home to a family they have been kept from for 5 years to find it radically different than what they remember.
If you had used the Kating 5 or something similar I would be very open to your opnion. This just smacks of tablod journalism that belongs right up there with “Angolina has twins”. Oh wait, no she didnt, she is still pregnant.
