I read originally that Pardee was going to put in attached homes and a strip mall. then community complained about it. Then Pardee said they were going to put in "affordable housing" there instead. Then the community complained about that (I guess they have the connotation of affordable housing with 'low income'…and judging by the snootiness of how things unraveled, that was highly not desirable)
I think the current plan is Pardee is going to put in "high end" attached homes, with slightly above averageshops there. I heard trader joe's is going in there. That would be cool, although I'm not sure if I'm excited about the extra traffic.
