Bridle Ridge in CV

Pardee just wants to squeeze whats in there. I thought for sure they would be ready to build up that large parcel of land they have at the corner of CC road and CM road, but instead they decided to build another community that litteraly hangs off of the canyon. It must suck to think that you had a corner lot off the canyon for years to now see a whole new development pushed right up against yours. That CV area is going to be one huge mess once they finish that last piece of land. Way too many homes and not enough parks, stores, no gas station, no infrastructure to handle all of those families moving in. I saw the map of Derby Hill and it seems they still have a ton of homes there to finish. Pretty soon it will be one huge congested mess of Range Rovers trying to get in and out. At least I’m renting there, I can leave when the sh&t hits the fan.

You're like coming across as if someone were to say "Ferrari's are such crap-mobiles and anyone who buys one is an idiot".

Litmus test: if someone were to give you that bridle ridge home, would you still say it's crap, just like if someone gave you a Ferrari, would you still say that's crap?

I wouldn't. Like i said, for example I do like some Derby Hills homes, minus some minor things. But fundamentally, I feel they're overpriced, and frankly I can' comfortably afford them. If I did have the financial means to buy a $1.5million home though, I'd probably look elsewhere for the same money.

 

Frankly, I'm glad they didn't put a gas station in this area. Who wants a gas station in their neighborhood, and plus there's a nice shell off of 56 in c.c.r.

I read originally that Pardee was going to put in attached homes and a strip mall. then community complained about it. Then Pardee said they were going to put in "affordable housing" there instead. Then the community complained about that (I guess they have the connotation of affordable housing with 'low income'…and judging by the snootiness of how things unraveled, that was highly not desirable)

I think the current plan is Pardee is going to put in "high end" attached homes, with slightly above averageshops there. I heard trader joe's is going in there. That would be cool, although I'm not sure if I'm excited about the extra traffic.
