I predict with 20% down a mortgage will soon be cheaper than rent. I know, I know then the landlords will just lower the rent. Nothing like asking the landlord to lower the rent. Try it, if s/he refuses then move. If they do lower the rent then stay and you can save even more towards a house of your own.
