For the right age, there is always the Halloween Fairy, Halloween Witch, Goblin, etc.
Have the kids take a few of their favorites out of the bag to eat and leave the rest of the bag outside the front door for the Halloween Fairy. When they wake up, the Halloween Fairy takes the candy and leaves a gift. Make sure it isn’t a lame gift, either.

As they get older and the reality of Santa Clause, Tooth Fairy, etc becomes clearer, you can just offer a trade for something nice. Teaches them to negotiate.
