Yeah, you are putting words in my text…I just said I won’t vote for either major party prez candidate, it has nothing to do with not voting for anything else.
As I’ve said before, I hate partisan politics. I would like there to be no 2 party system since it forces, say all Republicans to be pro-life since they won’t even win their primary to get to the general.
Studies have shown that it’s simply impossible to win as an independent candidate due to the nature of US politics and this is why Trump and Bernie both ran as Rep and Dem respectively. I’d think most people would classify both as independents. I think it was stated today that Bernie may try again next time as a pure independent…
You’re also stuck with pigeonholing people when they claim a party and to believe in one thing when really, it’s just a debate of separate issues and that’s it.
