Busing won’t be any different than it has already been. In MM, the SW quadrant have no elementary school. So, all the kids in this area will either have to cross MM Blvd. or Camino Ruiz to get to an elementary school. So, walking is tough or not a good idea (due to crossing busy streets). But with the new school built, they can get to the school in < 8 blocks, depending on where you live. Generally, I don't expect the student body to be that different from other elementary schools on the west side of MM. Some part of SW MM is being assigned to Mason Elementary, which doesn't perform as well as other Elementary schools on the west side. So, if I have to guess, based on the student body, this new school will score better than Mason and more in line with other schools on the west side.
