Congrats to you also. As a historical reference I bought my 1st home in SD County in 1997 which turned out to be just after the market turned up from its prior bottom. It felt expensive but we loved the area we bought in. We moved up 2 years later. It turned out to be a great decision that didnt feel so great at the time but rather felt about right. I think you will likely be happy with your purchase in the long run.
