I’d say, you’re light on facts and heavy on opinions. You tried to paint the picture than poor people vote republicans and rich people vote democrats.

Go to the politics section. Although San Diego turned blue in 2008, the districts w/ higher median household income and per capita income voted Republicans while the Districts with lower income voted Democrats.
According to the Orange County Registrar of Voters, as of July 21, 2009, Orange County had 1,599,889 registered voters. Of these, 43.6% (698,140) are registered Republicans, and 32.1% (512,853) are registered Democrats. An additional 20.2% (324,669) declined to state a political party.
