About three weeks ago, I warned my husband that I wanted to acquire a few chickens so that I can enjoy guilt-free eggs.
He just rolled his eyes into his head like he so often does…his first question was, “who cleans the chicken coop?” He will, of course! 🙂
We recently closed on a house with on a 1/2 + acre lot in Temecula and, according to the city of Temecula, I can have FOUR hens on a lot of that size.
The real question will be whether or not our HOA will allow hens in the backyard. My guess is a resounding “no.”
