That’s interesting. I’m glad they are imposing those building guidelines. The fact is though, in a strong Santa Ana, with burning embers flying through the air, no one is really fire-proof. All it takes is one little dried out palm frond floating through the air, landing in someone else’s yard or roof, and away it goes! I think these guidelines can help, but no community is immune. It’s kind of silly to think one’s home could be immune to a fire.
