Obviously you’re aware that there’s a time lag between when we hear Cooper and when Machado does. It happens any time there’s an interview via satellite. That’s why those interviews frequently involve people talking over each other. She didn’t pause at all, let alone for a long time.
In any case, she did not deflect the question, as you falsely claimed.
