SK, correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems you may be trying to say here that HRC, as a woman, would have had no chance at the 2008 and 2016 Democratic Presidential nomination unless she stayed married to that lying, cheating sack of *&^% aka Bill Clinton.
I disagree. I believe HRC (an accomplished, Ivy-educated lawyer) could have ran for President on her own merits. She would have been a lot more credible to the public on her girls and women platform had she not turned herself into the country’s most notorious “chump lady” (mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically). She would also very likely be in much better health today.
Instead, she chose to remain a “Clinton” for the sole purpose of attempting to bank on that name to further her own political career. We only have one life to lead and that is a very high price to pay for an unknown outcome, imho.
HRC was free to quietly divorce as early as 1991 and again in January 2001 and no one in this entire country would have blamed her for that decision.
