The Sur La Table store in the Carlsbad Forum is a great option for kids’ classes and summer cooking camps, if you live close enough. They have a big commercial kitchen space in the back of the store and they offer weekend kids’ classes and even better, 5-day summer camps with themes like “Global Favorites” or “Delicious Desserts”…one of our kids attended a teen party/cooking class there and had a blast. The camp is a little pricey at $350 for all 5 days, but if you’re planning to do a summer camp anyway, this one would be a huge hit.
