LOL – I just realized by the definition that if you work with an architect to build custom to your needs it is a custom home…
I live in an undeniable tract home. Not upgraded. No major remodels.
BUT… we have a custom granny flat in our back yard. Hubby spent 18 months designing and redesigning to meet the needs of my in laws within the very limiting requirements of companion units in San Diego…

So we have both… custom *and* tract… all on the same lot.
