181k views after 4 days is viral now?
September 22, 2011 at 5:38 PM #729651profhoffParticipantIt’s been reproduced and shared enthusiastically by both sides on multiple sites.
September 22, 2011 at 5:43 PM #729653anParticipantDo you mean linked by multiple sites or reproduced (i.e. copy the video and put it on their own server?) I’m looking at the view count on youtube (the original source that huffington is linking from).
September 22, 2011 at 6:31 PM #729655CA renterParticipantElizabeth Warren has more intelligence, wisdom, integrity, character, and good sense in her pinky finger than all the members of congress have in their entire bodies, combined.
There are very few people in this world whom I truly admire, but Elizabeth Warren is at the top of the list. I am beyond thrilled that she’s running for Senate.
September 22, 2011 at 6:57 PM #729656profhoffParticipantYouTube viewing stats undercount embedded videos, especially popular ones. Judging by embedding and pass-through, not to mention text reproductions of the content for those that can’t or don’t wish to view the vid, it’s my opinion the vid has gone viral.
This is also supported by the number of comments on blogs and content sites featuring or otherwise discussing the vid and its content, along with news and other media mentions, and search volume trends.
Of course, the vid isn’t viral to the extent the “Dad, I’m gay. Do you still love me?” vid is, since that went wide.
But within the smaller pointy-head crowd, the Elizabeth Warren vid and content have gone viral, and will probably pick up even more steam as the Senate race heats up.

I have to agree with you CAR. I’ve been impressed with her since the first time I saw her on some congressional committee hearing during the financial meltdown (I used to be a CSPAN junkie). She is no-nonsense and has a way of saying what she means in 25 words or less, without going for the “sound bites”.
I love Joe Biden, but how does “Obama/Warren 2012” sound? :}

Do you have proof of this?September 22, 2011 at 9:09 PM #729659NotCrankyParticipant

YouTube viewing stats undercount embedded videos, especially popular ones.
Do you have proof of this?
Speaking of proof AN, can you go back to solar thread and prove that for $3K I can get the solar system you were touting as smart compared to panels?
O.k. Excuse me, I like Warren also.

What solar thread and where did I claim you can get a solar system for $3k? I love to get one of those system too.Edit: I found the thread you’re talking about now. You should really go back and read it again. I never said you can get a solar system for $3k. I said the CEO of this company: http://www.bloomenergy.com/ on 60 minutes claim he will be selling these to residential for ~$3k. It’s fuel cell, not solar. So, what kind of proof do you want again?

I wouldn’t say that she’s more intelligent.
She’s got integrity and she’s one of the few decent people running.
I had already sent her a check some days back.
http://piggington.com/ot_elizabeth_warren_runsIt’d be something if she won.
Elizabeth Warren is populist but not in a repugnant way like Palin and Bachmann.

I wonder if a Republican version of you would say the exact opposite.September 22, 2011 at 11:46 PM #729675briansd1Guest

Elizabeth Warren is populist but not in a repugnant way like Palin and Bachmann.
I wonder if a Republican version of you would say the exact opposite.
No, because Elizabeth Warren is honest and actually has a platform that benefits her voters.
The masses of Tea Party voters don’t benefit from Tea Party policies.
I don’t agree with Ron Paul, but I believe he’s honest. Can’t say the same for other Tea Party leaders.

What does benefiting their voters have to do with being populist. How do you know a Republican version of you don’t think Warren repugnant? You keep on saying Tea Party voters don’t benefit from Tea Party policies. Do you have proof of this? Do you think they’re all dumb and don’t know what they’re doing/voting for?
September 23, 2011 at 8:55 AM #729694briansd1GuestElizabeth Warren is a decent, honest person. Nobody, even in opposition to her, would say that she’s a repugnant person.
Tea Party policitians are deceitful and prey upon people’s fears and weaknesses. Compared to Warren, Palin is a trashy opportunist.
The 10 poorest states in the nation are the reddest. Is that evidence enough for you? No, I do think people in impoverished Mississippi know what they are voting for.
