That’s great. I think we should do the same thing in Sacramento.
I don’t have kids in school or college, don’t get public assistance (healthcare or welfare), don’t work for the state and don’t know anyone in prison. That means that I’m being disenfranchised as a tax paying resident; the bulk of state taxes pay for the above things which I derive no direct benefit from.

November 29, 2009 at 12:07 PM #488764NeetaTParticipantI’m a “Hawk,” I’m all for war, but you are correct in the fact that we should not have to dig into our hard earned money to pay for wars. They should be paid for via the current inflated-unwarranted tax rate or salary cuts for those in congress.
