Seems the people who pay the most taxes get nothing on a “rebate, and people that pay no income taxes get it. I save a good percentage of my earnings so I would definitely spend the $600 if I got it. I would hit the department stores with that cash, no problem. Does not look like many who qualify for the rebate will spend it on consumer goods. I think most of those people are in survival mood, which makes the rebate program into a welfare program, and not a stimulus program.

February 5, 2008 at 5:14 PM #148548barnaby33ParticipantI did this a couple of days ago as well. Everytime I write Feinstein I get a form letter that says either nothing, or that she holds to opposite view. The only thing that keeps me in the Democratic party is Republicans!
