Contacting CA Senators about stimulus pacakge

There may be a chance (probably a very, very slim chance) of convincing the two CA Senators to vote against the stimulus package and against raising the FHA and GSE loan limits.

Why not fire off a quick message and let them know you are against raising the FHA and GSE conforming loan limits? It doesn’t take long and it might actually help.

I don’t qualify for the rebate. The irony is that if I got the rebate, I would go out and spend it! Seems the people who pay the most taxes get nothing on a “rebate, and people that pay no income taxes get it. I save a good percentage of my earnings so I would definitely spend the $600 if I got it. I would hit the department stores with that cash, no problem. Does not look like many who qualify for the rebate will spend it on consumer goods. I think most of those people are in survival mood, which makes the rebate program into a welfare program, and not a stimulus program.

I did this a couple of days ago as well. Everytime I write Feinstein I get a form letter that says either nothing, or that she holds to opposite view. The only thing that keeps me in the Democratic party is Republicans!
