I did the same thing! 58 by the 10th in Santee, more than the whole month for the last 2 years. I ramndomly check other areas and was finding the same thing in some zip codes.
I believe it’s the interest rates and the repo’s. I am seeing houses now that I would want to buy, at or near what I would pay. I called my mortgage guy to lock a rate and get another loan approval. He said he would do it but “wait, interest rates are going to fall further and you guys are gonna get a GREAT deal.”.
That snowball has started to barrel down that hill now, and folks are jumping on……….
