wow, Thanks for posting as I was trying to get an update and nothing is online on any of the news channels on evacuations for RB and Poway. We are renting in RB and the smoke was so bad we left yesterday. I have a newborn at home. How did you hear of the evacuation anddo you know if it’s the entire city’s or just parts?
Please post any other info. you might have as we are up in Murrieta and only get LA news here!
Thanks…and I can’t believe that it’s this blog that has the most up to date info.

We were ordered to evacuate 4:15am but we left last night for the Lomas Serenas off of Via Rancho PArkway but we got ordered to evacuate again at 4:00am. We left via Del Dios and it was very smokey at 4:30 am. Any info would be appreciated.

October 22, 2007 at 9:44 AM #90518HereWeGoParticipantThe fires had reached Escala off Pomerado by 4:00 AM this morning, according to a friend who evacuated. Apparently the hill with the cross was aflame. Horrible.
