Time for a wine related Time for a wine related thread! Paring wines with Thanksgiving is tough. Turkey’s are an unforgiving lot. Suggestions, other than Yellowtail et al are welcome.

I stay away from a lot of the I stay away from a lot of the things I really like because I am a creature of habit….and it would be pretty ugly. So red wine ends up being my favorite, though many beers are fine. I like Martinelis apple and cran-apple.

Normally I would have voted Normally I would have voted beer (beer seems to go good with just about anything, it’s like bread).
But this year since I know the wife is going to insist we hit the back Friday sales (which start on Thursday this year) so I have to go with Pop (this is just not right).

Even better…Broguiere’s eggnog. It’s not cheap, and it’s certainly not low-calorie, but once you drink it, you will never be able to go back to “regular” eggnog. They charge $1 for the glass jar, which you can get back when you return the jar.
It’s very difficult to get their eggnog, though, because they sell out very quickly. Some years, we have to get it from LA when we go up there (Gelson’s). Occasionally, Stater Brothers carries it, and Whole Foods supposedly does, too.

Their chocolate milk is also incredible.
