Participant“ZK, your liberal sentiment only causes more problems in society.”
What liberal sentiment is that? And specifically what problems do sentiments such as mine cause?
In fact I will track it down for you.
I’ve already tried, and I don’t think it exists.
I just don’t think America is ready for Obama.
Obviously I disagree, but either way I don’t see how our opinions about whether America is ready are relevant. Either it is or it isn’t and we’ll find out in November.
Obama just doesn’t have the experience necessary to lead this country.
That is a valid concern. His lack of experience is, in my opinion, his biggest drawback. On the other hand, I believe the fact that he actually listens to people who do have experience (as opposed to our current president, who doesn’t seem to ever listen to anybody or anything except his gut) will combine with his apparent (to me) willingness and ability to look at things in a new way and result in exactly the type of leadership this country needs right now.
I’m off to the gaslamp then the Cubs game. Hasta manana, amigos.

ParticipantPerhaps the story of the “Che flag” in Obama’s Houston headquarters escaped your notice? Should you require more evidence of Obama, Marxism, and his whackdoodle nutjob supporters, you might try googling “Obama Marxist”, and give a read to a bit of the torrent that appears.
So Obama has some whackdoodle nut job marxist supporters. All candidates have whackdoodle nut job supporters. Maybe Obama’s nutjob supporters are marxists and maybe McCain’s nutjob supporters are anarchists.
I’m a supporter of Obama, and even I can find things that are wrong with him without resorting to attacking his supporters. Surely you can come up with something.
How about we debate this like adults, without the distractions and the name calling and the spin and the b.s.

ParticipantObama went on to say that if he became our President he planned to have a civil rights police force policing the streets. This isn’t a joke, I just happened to be running through my channels a few months ago and saw this interview.
That’s just plain made up.
I will be honest I still think we have a long way to go in that country, but I do believe we are moving in the right direction.
So you think that the Iraqis are taking responsibility for their country and making significant progress in the process of running and securing it by themselves? Or do you have some other “right direction” in mind?
We need to get off the Iraq wagon and start focusing on what directly affects our country like North Korea and Iran and of course this global economic meltdown that we face. I haven’t heard much about either country as of late because it seems as though Obama and Hilary want to focus on the past and not the future.
I wouldn’t call focusing on Iraq focusing on the past. I’d call it focusing on the present and the future. Americans are dying in Iraq and a lot of attention should therefore be paid to Iraq.
Don’t vote for Obama because you think he is a great speaker or he is going to change the country because it won’t happen. Vote for Obama if you really feel like he motives are there. I believe Obama is a talented speaker and extremely savy salesman, but he doesn’t belong in the Oval Office IMHO.
Well, except for the part about whehter he belongs in the Oval Office and whether he’s going to change things, I agree with you.

ParticipantNow who doesn’t want a young attractive Marxist-Racist in the White House? Well, probably most of us. For those of you who missed it all of the other times it happened, the D’s routinely nominate presidential candidates who are in touch with the base of their party, hard core leftists, and government tit suckers. Held up to the light of a national campaign, they are often found… wanting.
As with most attacks on Obama, this one is based on… somebody’s imagination. Examine this post and see if you can find any facts, reason or logic.
