Participant
Rustico a right-winger? How long have you been on this site?
I didn’t say he was a right winger. I said his vague swipes at the president were inspired by the right-wing noise machine.

Participant
Relishing in revenge does not reflect well on any society. This is true especially when it is a symbolic revenge that misdirects much capacity for critical thinking.I am having visions of that American soldier who was drug around on a chain tied to a pick-up through the streets of Somalia.
Realizing the event will be the launching platform for the U.S. presidential re-election of a recent Nobel Peace Prize winner is even more demoralizing. Now,if we can just get more oil, it will be a slam dunk for the Chief.
Rustico,
As anyone who has read my posts here for the last 6 or 7 years will tell you, I don’t generally call others names, and I generally prefer to pick weak arguments apart piece by piece.
But with you I’m going to take a different tack.
You’re a moron. You are just wrong every time you type. For you to talk about critical thinking is a joke. From your biased approach to alcoholism, which completely lacked in critical thinking, to your biased approach to the origins of homosexuality, which further displayed your inability to think critically, to your assertion that we are relishing in revenge when we are in fact celebrating a military victory which will rob al qaeda of some of its leadership, to your sideways, right wing noise machine-inspired, vague swipes at the president, you have consistently demonstrated that you have no critical thinking skills. And the worst part is that you think you’re a critical thinker. You blame your poor writing skills on being a high school dropout. You’re wrong. You have poor writing and thinking skills because you’re a moron.
I agree that the above post does nothing to demonstrate my critical thinking skills. I think I’ve displayed them enough over the last 6 years that I can take one post off.

Participant
How much do we want the federal or state government to politicize our child’s education? The very same people who were railing against Intelligent Design (no I do not wish to open this can of worms either) as not fit for schools are now in favor of gay sensitivity training. Their position has changed because the subject matter has changed.
To say that those of us who are against intelligent design being taught as science are saying ID is not fit for schools is incorrect.
Generally, those who rail against intelligent design rail against ID being taught as science. Not against ID being taught as one religious idea. If you fail to make that distinction, you fail to make your point. We are against ID being taught as science because ID is not science. The inconsistency you attempt to point out does not exist.

Participant
i pretty much remember when i decided to be straight. it was 7th grade. nobody had to tell me. i just wanted to touch this one specific girl. really badly. gosh she was cute. smelled good too.
i’d imagine it woulda been kind of a similar experience if id wanted to touch some boy. except my parents wouldve had a heart attack. and i probably woulda got the shit kicked out of me.
Wow. Nicely done. But I think you’re being too subtle for many of those who don’t want their kids to think homosexuality is normal.
Imagine the confusion and fear (when they first encounter their sexuality) of all those unlucky enough to be born into our homophobic society when they were born gay. They have people like paramount to thank for that.
