Hi Michael,
I just got a job in Glendale (now renting a house in Glendale) but am looking to buy in Pasadena or Altadena. Do you know if Altadena prices are coming down at all?

Young GrasshoppaParticipantYes, I am very aware of the current state of the housing industry and the occupations relevant to it. Fortunately, my area of work is in academics. Becoming licensed as a Certified General appraiser is a side interest and requires many hours of trainee experience under another CG appraiser. Some trainees pick any old shmoe out of the yellow pages and vounteer to do grunt work in order to accrue their hours. I am attempting to survey the knowledge on this forum regarding which of the quality appraisal companies (if any) have a training system in place. But it is possible that the people on this forum do not have this specific knowledge.
