ParticipantYou might be able to negotiate a better deal (not necessarily price, but maybe free upgrades or closing cost) if you don’t use a buyer’s agent. You may want to verify first; I did not try this but heard from a friend that purchased a new construction without an agent.

ParticipantYou could just leave out the legal comment, and go with the traditional 17 day contingency for inspection, appraisal, and loan. The way I understand it, you can back out during those 17 days for any reason you want, right?
