Thanks gzz. We’re being picky and looking mostly in the Silvergate/Sunset View school zones, but we’ll move agressively when we find the one. Inventory is currently so low that patience is the key.
woodrowParticipantAs a townhouse owner in 92107 looking to move up to a SFH in 92107 or 92106, I watch the Pennisula market daily.
Anything south of $1M is a fixer and usually pending in days. North of $1.2-1.3M market seems to linger longer, but not a ton of inventory there either.Perhaps OB is finally turning the corner.
woodrowParticipantwat?
Starbucks is a printing press dude. They own the retail coffee business in the richest country on the planet. Zero chance they go bankrupt.

This concept is at the heart of our progressive tax system. Until you have a basic understanding, you should really refrain from discussing the advantages and disadvantages of our current tax code.
Not trying to be a smart arse, but it’s really a waste of time to discuss tax policy with people arguing that “such and such percentage is not fair” based strictly on incomes.

woodrowParticipantLet me get this straight: the chart shows that Obama and McCain’s tax policies are virtually identical until we get to 600K+. At that point, McCain’s tax policy is to give huge tax breaks to those making 600k+, essentially the wealthiest 1% of the country. Obama believes that those over 600K should have their taxes increased by a substantial amount.
As a country, we’ve run up the largest deficit in history, the dollar is at an all time low, and we’re spending $12billion a month in Iraq. Is this the right time for tax cuts for the wealthiest 1%?
The most amusing part is that many of those in favor of McCain’s tax policy remain staunch supporters of the occupation of Iraq. It’s “spend spend spend” while wanting less taxes at the same time. Real conservatives would roll over in their graves if they knew what Republican fiscal and foreign policy had become.
